State and County Broadband Mapping

Created a statewide map that characterizes broadband availability across Ohio at the census block group level. Built 88 county broadband profiles that show availability at the census block level as well as the number of unserved and underserved households and populated square miles for each county.
The maps use an RCG-developed methodology that combines Ookla® Speedtest Intelligence® reports, FCC Form 477 filings, the CACM model, USAC HUBB process deployment data, U.S. Census Bureau figures, and E-911 address data to create unified broadband speed ratings for census blocks and block groups.
